Bronwyn Menhinick lives in Devonport where she began her teaching career focusing on the management and resourcing of primary art education.
In 2002 Bronwyn attained a Higher Certificate in Art Education and in 2003 gained a Graduate Diploma in Education Specialising in Art Education.
Bronwyn completed her teaching practice as an art specialist teacher and worked for many years as a part time tutor in the Children’s Art School, Auckland University Faculty of Education.
Bronwyn works full time as an artist from Studio 8 Mt Eden and has attended art courses at the Auckland City Artstation with tutor Matthew Browne for several years.
In 2007 Bronwyn held a joint exhibition with Barbara Bailey based on their recent travel experiences in the Small dog Gallery.
In 2013 Bronwyn held a solo exhibition at the Lake House featuring charcoal and pastel drawings of the Whau River.
Bronwyn’s current work is a celebration of tropical plant forms and an investigation of light and shadow using the medium of acrylic paint on canvas.
